About The Staff

Hicks Studio of Fenton has been family owned for over 50 years.  Something you may not know is all of the Hicks Studios are individually owned.   The staff at Hicks Studio of Fenton is small- with a full time staff of three.

bradAllen Bradley Hawks, better known as Brad, is second a generation photographer following in the footsteps of his father Carl Hawks, and his uncle, Leonard Hawks. Brad has been involved in photography most of his life, aside from a few years playing semi-professional football in Louisiana. He currently works out of his 4,000 square foot storefront studio, Hicks Studio of Fenton where, after nearly thirty years in the business, he still holds a strong passion and desire for what he does. Brad is both a Certified Professional Photographer and Master Photographer – less than 3% of all photographers hold this mark of excellence. Brad and his wonderful wife Belinda have two sons, Allen and Travis. Allen attends college on the East side of the state, while Travis balances local college with work at the studio. At his home, set back in the woods, Brad  has a dog named Max, a chicken, and a few ducks. He enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, gardening, but his biggest passion is painting. Brad feels he’s been lucky for he has been able to do something with his life that he feels he was put on earth to do.
